Site History
This is a brief history of my web-mastering days.The first site;
I first opened my first site on Piczo. It was a rubbishy Pokemon Fansite. Yeah, I know; people don't say that about their own sites, but this one was rubbish... Anyway, it started out like any other newbie site; layoutless, picture-loaded and just... new. However, I got better at web design! Yay!
Piczo fails;
About a year (maybe more ?) after my Piczo Site opened, Piczo was under control of Stardoll; a group of girls who changed Piczo completely... You see, you're meant to be 13 for a Piczo. I wasn't. So, Piczo wouldn't let me log in anymore. My friends and myself wrote tons of complaint letters to Piczo, trying to get my site back, but it was no use.
Look at the pretty Rainbow Skies;
When the first site shut down, I made a new one, trying to replace the old one. I worked on it for a few months, but suddenly died (I can't remember why, but I'm sure it was school...). By the time I came back, my Summer Exams at school were beginning, resulting in me not updating for about two more weeks. After a while, I decided that Piczo was... dying, or already dead. So I started to learn how to code and make layouts suitable for HTML sites. Thus Rainbow-Skies.webs.com was born!
Shooting Star
After about four months on webs, I decided that there had to be a better host out there. Aqua moved to Bubble, resulting in me following her. So here we are, brand-spanking-new!
2011
Over the past year, I am pleased to say that Shooting Star is now a lot more evolved than what it was. I can't believe it's been a whole year! But it's been great. I hope that I'm still here this time next year! :D
A short hiatus and revamp
Between January and February, there was about a 3 week period when I just left the site for a while because a lot of stuff was happening. I came back around the 20th of February with some new content, layouts and more of the fanfiction!
Summer time means snow cones, baby!
I took time off to study for exams and whatnot. I returned officially on the 4th of July :D I made some new, compact layouts, one of which I titled 'Snow Cones <3'. I spent free time working on the site, surfing, reading and chatting on msn.
Here we go again
Another quick revamp, beginning on the 8th of August. Basically, I had a 3-column layout, some new content and more! ^o^ Around this time, lots of people were going on hiatus/revamp... but I had to, because my site would be all messed up o.OThat's all for now, folks! ;D
